The gap
Generic timers count minutes. They don't know whose work you're doing.
You finish a long week of deep work and still can't say how much of it went to which client. Pomodoro apps hand you a number; spreadsheets turn it into a chore.
Focus Timely sits in between — the calm of a focus timer, with the clarity of knowing where your time went — and what it was worth.
Why it's different
Everything a good Pomodoro timer does — plus the one thing they all skip: whose work it was.
Open it and focus. No account, no setup — it runs right in your browser, and it's yours from the first session.
Every session carries a project or client. Filter, sort, and read your day the way you actually bill it.
A 13-week heatmap, streaks, and analytics by client, weekday, and time of day. Your patterns, made visible.
Set a rate per client and your focus becomes billable totals automatically. See what you've earned this week, ready to export for invoicing.
Quoting a flat fee? Track hours against the budget and see your real effective rate when it's done — green when you're winning, red when you're underwater.
AI-written summaries — daily, weekly, or monthly. Your billable totals, top clients, and best day, landed in your inbox. No app required.
How it works
Pick a length, hit start. Breaks, ambience, and notifications are built in.
One tap picks the project. It sticks for the whole session, so every minute is accounted for.
By client, by day, by week — and summarised in your inbox daily, weekly, or monthly.
Pricing
The timer is free forever. Pro adds billable tracking, project profitability, and inbox reports — available now.
Cross-device sync & cloud backup are free with an account — you only pay for depth.
Why I'm building this
I run a small agency, and I wanted a focus timer that could tell me where my hours actually went — without turning into yet another time-tracking chore I'd abandon by Wednesday.
Nothing out there sat in the right spot: the pretty timers don't understand clients, and the time-trackers aren't built for focus. So I built Focus Timely in the open — free to use, with billable tracking, project profitability, and inbox reports now live for Pro. If that's a gap you feel too, I'd love to have you along.

No. Open it and start — your sessions, tasks, and history live in your browser. A free account is optional, and it adds cross-device sync and cloud backup.
It's yours. Everything is stored locally on your device, and you can export it as a file anytime. With a free account it also syncs and backs up to the cloud, so clearing your browser can't lose it.
Those are lovely timers. Focus Timely adds the layer they skip: a project/client on every session, analytics by client, plus billable hours, project profitability, and inbox reports. It's a focus timer for people doing client work.

Yes — that's what makes it different. Set your project fee, track hours as you work, and Focus Timely shows your real effective hourly rate when it's done. Green if you beat your target rate, red if it ate more hours than it was worth — so you quote smarter next time.
Your focus time, billable totals, top clients, project profitability, best day, and streak — a clean summary sent to your inbox daily, weekly, or monthly. You choose the cadence, or turn them off.
No. You just focus — start a session, tag it to a client, and tracking happens by itself. No timesheets. The billing and profitability numbers build automatically from your sessions.
That's exactly what it's built for. Each client can be hourly (earns a billable total) or fixed-fee (tracks profitability against a budget), independently. Most freelancers do both, and Focus Timely handles the mix.
